Process Engineering & Process Control Section Head
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Basic Function:
• Plan and Coordinate Process Control Engineering and Process Engineering functions in the Process Engineering Department to Serve as the centralized source of expertise; while ensuring compliance with company strategies commitments and goals.
• Coordinate and provide specialized technical support in Process Control Engineering, Refinery Information System, Energy Management and Process Simulations to Ruwais and Abu Dhabi Refineries, provide specialized technical support in process Engineering to Corporate Support Division, Supply Division.
• Also provide Process and Process Control Engineering support to Execution of Minor projects from FEED through EPC to Commissioning and final acceptance, in the Engineering and Technical Support Division.
Minimum Requirements:
• University Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 15 Years experience in refining and oil & gas related fields of which 5 Years in a supervisory position.
• A broad technical and managerial knowledge base, coupled with multi-disciplinary depth of skills in Process Engineering.
• A high degree of original thinking, judgement, critical analysis, and problem solving ability.
• Capacity to effectively prioritize and execute multiple tasks in a high pressure environment.
• Strong written and oral skills to effectively articulate ideas to team members and contactors from a broad spectrum of disciplines.
• Excellent communication and management skill.
• Excellent leadership and Team building skills.
• High level of competency in use of computers.
