Social Counselor
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Basic Function:
• Conducts individual and group meetings with employees/developees/trainees to investigate any reported problems among them and find solutions. This includes staff having performance, attendance, social, medical or attitude problems.
• Reviews and analyses staff profiles in terms of performance, lateness, absenteeism, attitude and other matters, highlights areas of strength and deficiency for the individual staff and recommends actions accordingly.
• Meets individually with employees having serious, irremediable problems and recommends actions as per the company rules and regulations.
• Prepares periodic report to supervisor, including personality assessment results and recommended action.
• Provides specialist advice, guidance and consultation and may provide or arrange lectures on various aspects to reinforce staff performance, religious, cultural and social values. Includes advice/lectures on religion, cultural topics, health, road safety, maintenance of discipline, etc.
• Completes documentation of staff information, and orders in proper fashion in keeping with established procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
• BA degree in Social Science, Sociology or equivalent.
• 10 years of social counseling experience in Personnel related to social service and counseling.
• Very good command of English & Arabic Language.
• Computer knowledge is essential.
• Master in Communication & Interpersonal Skills.
• Should have previous experience working with Students.
