Section Head - Piping & Materials
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Basic Function:
• Supervises and controls all purchasing functions of the Section to ensure that the activities performed are quality oriented and cost effective. Includes developing purchasing strategies for major high value Mechanical & Piping items.
• Conducting techno-commercial negotiations for major purchase and assisting in the development of an Annual Commitment Plan for major Capital, Direct charge and stock items.
Minimum Job Requirements:
• B.Sc. in an engineering discipline or equivalent.
• 10 years’ experience in procurement of processing plant equipment and materials, preferably in an oil/gas or petrochemical industry.
• Good knowledge of English and Arabic languages.
