Process Engineer
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE / Offshore
Basic Function:
• Provide Specialist advice; carry out conceptual and optimization studies, Basic Engineering and FEED.
• Prepare Scope of Work for consultants to carry out conceptual studies, Conceptual design, FEED, etc and review their output.
Work Performed:
• Conduct conceptual and optimization studies, Basic Process Design, Front End Engineering, Safety & Design Reviews, HAZOP.
• Provide engineering support required for detailed design, projects, cost and planning groups.
• Prepare Scope of Work to Engineering Consultants for different studies and projects
• Monitor and review studies and design by Consultants
• Perform techno-economic evaluation for engineering services, equipment etc.
• Perform simulation using Hysys, Pipesim, and Flow master etc including general process engineering softwares.
• Provide expert technical guidance and advice to BU(s) for queries on as required basis.
• Promote application of new technology and industry best practices.
• Participate in the training of UAE national developees.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from a reputed International University.
• Minimum of 10 years experience in the oil & gas industry of which at last 5 years should have been related to upstream offshore oil and gas. Experience shall have covered Conceptual, FEED and detailed design.
• Very good knowledge of English.
