Governance Procedure Analyst
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Basic Function:
• Provides professional consultancy services and advice on organizational design, business processes, and the establishment of optimal manpower requirements in all Company Divisions. Conducts organization/manpower studies to meet company's missions, objectives and Management's requirements and prepare reports for Executive Management approval.
Work Performed:
• Liaise with management, Various Division Managers to identify obstacles to higher performance and opportunities for improvement.
• Undertake organizational and business studies requested by CEO & SVPs. Analyze root causes of low performance and recommend ways to improve through organization change, redesign of business processes, behavioral and culture change, etc.
• Conduct comprehensive Business Improvement Reviews of departments' operations, aimed at improving their performance; develop scope of work. Prepare reports and slide presentations of study findings. Present & discuss findings with all levels of management up to CEO.
• Advise management on organization & manpower requirements. Review organizational change requests from managers and advise CEO whether to approve.
• Identify need for external management consultants, develop the scope of work, technically evaluate bids, coordinate, guide, support and supervise consultants activities, evaluate their findings and ensure implementation as appropriate.
• Advise VPs/Managers on change management techniques and assist with the implementation of change initiatives.
• Organize, participate in, or lead Company Task Forces to address performance improvement, cost reduction, process change, business process automation etc.
• Organize, design and facilitate workshops and conferences, including annual leadership conferences
• Assist Business Process Owners to design business processes, ensuring they comply with international standards and best practice.
• Advise Business Process Owners on their roles & responsibilities, and assist them to effectively perform those roles.
• Establish, develop and maintain Company's Organizational Manual to define roles of each Division.
• Monitor industry best practice developments and identify opportunities for incorporating those practices in Company.
Minimum Requirements:
• Degree in Business Management or related discipline.
• At least 10 years related experience in organizational studies and/or system analysis in a large industrial organization preferably associated with oil industry, of which at least 5 years at supervisory level.
• Sound knowledge and understanding of business processes, organizational design, change management techniques and organisational/business factors relevant to Company.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient knowledge of English.
