HSE Engineer (Safety)

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Basic Function:

• Carry out safety related procedures and studies, including review/preparation of TRA, PTW, HSE plan, NMR, Hazardous area classification, Asset Integrity Management, FMEA, SIL, HAZOP, HAZID, QRA etc.

• Participates in the implementation of the safety management programs and conducts Plant inspections to identify Hazards / risks, suggest control measures / corrective action needs.

• Carry out safety check and inspection of the works conducted at Company Abu Dhabi camp.

• Arrange safety related activities required in Company HSSE procedure, such as HSE audit, HSE patrol, HSSE committee, etc.

• Enforce fire safety standards and Ensure Company HSSE regulations are complied with.

• Ensure the HSSE objective and Targets are achieved in the company.

• Prepare and follow up the budget for HSSE activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering/Sciences (Preferred B.E/B.Tech Chemical or Mechanical).

• 1 or 2 years diploma on Fire and Safety Engineering.

• NEBOSH /IOSH accredited certification.

• RPO (Radiation Protection Officer) and related knowledge on radiation, NORM.

• Good knowledge on HSE design, HSE studies & best practices on HSE, HSEMS, OHSAS, and Company CoP.

• 6 - 8 years of experience (At least 5 years in Oil & Gas industry.) engaged in Safety, Occupational Health, Environment, including Waste and NORM management, hygiene management, and handling of Management System such as HSEMS, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001.

• Good knowledge of local and international legislation and regulations related work.
